Patient Treatment Area Testing

Reducing the risk of exposure of equipment users and patients to electrical hazards within Patient Treatment areas.

AS/NZS 3003:2011 sets out the electrical safety requirements for new electrical installations and for alterations, additions and repairs of existing electrical installations in patient areas.

All new electrical installations should be independently commissioned to AS/NZS 3003:2011. All existing patient treatment areas should be routinely inspected to ensure that any faults are quickly identified and repaired.

In-A-Tick provides in-service testing and commissioning of body protected and cardiac protected patient treatment areas to AS/NZS 3003:2011.
